Automated External Defibrillator training course

When this training is complete the learner will have gained confidence and competence to administer Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) with the use of an AED to an unconscious, non-breathing casualty.

This course meets the standards required to comply with the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.

Certification

Wiltshire First Aid Training will provide an approved First Aid Industry Body (FAIB) CPR and AED certificate on successful completion of the course. This will enable candidates to perform CPR with the use of an AED should the need arise. If you choose an accredited Level 3 Award in CPR and AED your certificate will be issued by an Ofqual regulated Awarding Organisation, Qualifications Network UK (QNUK).

Assessment

The trainer will assess learners' competence on a practical informal basis.

If choosing the Level 3 Award in CPR and AED (RQF) the assessment is ongoing undertaken by the trainer and learners are also required to sit a written multiple choice test paper on completion of the course content.

The cost:

In-house course – 4 to 6 delegates £35 per person + VAT

This price is applicable to the First Aid Industry Body (FAIB) approved CPR and AED certificate. For the Level 3 Award (RQF) in CPR and AED there will be an extra cost of £5 per candidate to cover the cost of the certification.
