Annual Refresher Training

The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) strongly recommend an annual refresher course for those who have attended the First Aid at Work and Emergency First Aid at Work courses.  This course is ideal to keep first aiders up to date with latest protocols and the opportunity to practice and refresh their first aid skills.

The course is 3 hours duration with lots of practical exercises ensuring candidates leave the course confident that they would be able to deal with an emergency situation should one arise.

Course content:

-         Unconscious
-         Recovery position
-         CPR with use of an AED
-         Shock
-         Wounds

Who should attend?

Those who have attended First Aid at Work, First Aid at Work Re qualification and Emergency First Aid at Work courses.

Certification

Successful candidates will receive an approved First Aid Industry Body (FAIB) certificate issued by Wiltshire First Aid Training.

Assessment

The trainer will continually assess learners' competence on a practical informal basis. 

Maximum course numbers

In-house courses, a minimum of 4 candidates and a maximum of 24 candidates (provided there is enough room). 2 trainers will be provided for larger numbers.
