This three-day course meets the standards required to comply with the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981. After successful completion the candidate will be able to perform the role of a first-aider in the workplace.
This course also includes the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED).
In February 2024 the HSE updated their guidelines on Mental Health Awareness in the workplace, there is now an increased focus on the employer’s responsibility to account for the mental health of their employees within their first aid needs assessment. These prices are applicable to the First Aid Industry Body (FAIB) accredited and approved First Aid at Work course. If choosing the Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (RQF) there will be an extra cost of £10 + VAT per delegate to cover the cost of certification. Either option meet the requirements of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.
