About Us

About Wiltshire First Aid, serving Wiltshire, surrounding counties and South Wales - Accredited first aid training

A wealth of practical knowledge and experience

The company Director, Emma Noakes has a wealth of practical knowledge and experience.  She was employed as a first aid, health and safety trainer by the Metropolitan Police Service for six years where she trained police officers / staff and tested her practical skills during operational deployments.

On leaving the MPS, Emma worked extensively for five years providing courses on a freelance basis.  Here she quickly gained a reputation for being a highly motivated and knowledgeable trainer and assessor.  That experience has assisted her to adapt her delivery to a wider audience and gained a valuable insight into the needs of private business.

Having worked within the training environments, Emma felt it was time to offer first aid courses direct to potential clients.  This is rapidly expanding and clients include Wiltshire County Council Foster Care Development Team, Bowood Estate, Snapdragons Nurseries and most recently awarded the contract to teach paediatric first aid for the under graduate students of the world renowned Norland College.

Wiltshire First Aid has also expanded to offer a full range of accredited Health and Safety courses to enable businesses, industry and other organisations to comply fully with their legal requirements and to provide safe working environments. Specially selected trainers are used to deliver these courses to the highest standard available.

"Emma made what can be a very draining course interesting, fun and relevant to each of our situations. I've just done the online section - really good way of checking knowledge, and completing the course. And for me, wonderful to be able to renew my certificate without having to get my husband to take a day off work to look after the children or to have to ask my working mums to rearrange childcare for a few days!
